How to write a resume for a job
I’ve been studying lots of resume for new recruitment and I myself have gone few interviews. Actually writing a good resume is not a rocket science. It is more on common sense.
If you put yourself on the interviewer’s shoes, what you want to look at in the resume? That’s what they are looking for. So just give what they want, and you will get what you want.
So how to write a good resume?
- First you must have your picture on it! Your picture tell a lot about you.
- Write what you have done not what you have learnt
- Twist words in your resume to suit the job you apply. Don’t use one resume for all jobs
- Highlights your expertise. Not your weaknesses. Don’t say that you are average in this and that. Who want to employ average worker?
- Stress more on result, achievement, qualification you have gain.
- Last but not least - never lie when writing your resume
It is quite straight forward, maybe somebody can add up to the list. Hope the list could help in some ways.
